September 2007 United Ministers’ Conference

I’ve enclosed the Motel information for our Fall, United Ministers’ Fellowship conference. Copying and printing services are very expensive so I will only send this information out once. Better use it now while you are thinking about it – don’t loose it! Register early are you may not be able to get accommodations.

The conference will be held at Second Chance Fellowship in Joshua, Texas. It is on the main street running through the center of Joshua. The Ch. ph. no. is 817-447-1129. Everyone is welcome so bring a friend and be blessed. See you in Joshua!

Catch the Wave!

Surfers have a phrase, “catch the wave”. Obviously, they mean “hitch a ride on the wave”, because waves are far too powerful to catch! So it is with the wave of God’s Spirit that is pounding the shores of Christendom at this present time. For those who have eyes to see and ears to hear, the glory of His manifest power is breathtaking! This powerful wave is creating a rare opportunity for brave and adventurous souls to get into something new and exhilarating. But be careful! The undertow from the entrenched religious establishment is treacherous as its outgoing wave opposes everything new that God does. Its professors of religion prefer the safety of wading in the shallow waters of religious tradition rather than swimming in the open seas of God’s unfathomable love.

The Prophet’s Perspective
This Present Truth

Last month we discussed how God’s declared will progressively unfolds until it becomes an established present truth reality in the earth. As we’ve discussed in past newsletters, the Son (Word) declares God’s will, the Spirit reveals His way and the Father does the work. By receiving the revelation of God’s purposes and allowing the Holy Spirit to show us His timing and the way He has predetermined to achieve His goals, we can participate with our Heavenly Father as He accomplishes His marvelous plan, both in and through us.

God does not work alone. We can do nothing without Him and He has no intention of working without our willing participation! Our primary purpose is to manifest what He is doing and give Him the glory as His miraculous deeds are preformed. As Paul stated, “For all the promises of God in [Christ] are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us” (2 Cor. 1:20).

In the past, our “church” structure has greatly limited God by only using professional “clergyman” to do the work of the ministry. Instead of training the masses to do the work, they’ve made them inactive spectators of their bungled attempts at doing it (see Eph. 4:11-16). God is changing all of that. If the churches won’t allow Him to move and work in and through the people as He desires, He will do as He has always done – simply take them out of the present church structure and make a new form that will allow Him to move.

God’s ways are unchanging. What He has done before, He will do again. David said that God, “made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel” (Psalm 103:7). When Israel rebelled in the wilderness, “Moses took the tabernacle, and pitched it without the camp, afar off from the camp, and called it the Tabernacle of the congregation. And it came to pass, that every one which sought the Lord went out unto the tabernacle of the congregation, which was without the camp” (Exod. 33:7). Most of those who are leaving the present church structure (the “camp”) and choosing rather to meet in homes and offices are not in rebellion – they are seeking God!

When the Jews rebelled against God and rejected their Messiah, the writer of Hebrews exhorted them to leave their Jewish traditions and, “...go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach” (Heb. 13:13). A wise pastor will realize this and work with God to make the changes that He requires rather than complain because church attendance is down and the people are leaving in mass!

Jesus is coming soon. One way or another, God is going to put the people to work so that He can get the end-time harvest in before Jesus returns. “Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waits for the precious fruit of the earth, and has long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain” (James 5:7). Wake up Saints; it’s time to go to work!

Prayer Partners’ Update

The most pressing need at present is for God to bring to fruition the many wonderful promises that He has made concerning the latter years of our ministry. His promises range all the way from increased revelation to increased finances to accomplish all that He has promised. Our move to Colorado to build and establish a school of ministry, new overseas mission fields and new, open doors of ministry here in the States are but a few of His promises. Thanks, friends!

Testimony Time

I received this (slightly edited and considerably shortened) testimony after returning home from Branson.

“Our family was in Branson a few weeks ago when Pam and Don came over to our table as we were eating Pizza. They asked if we were Christian. We said yes. Pam said she had a word from the Lord for me. It was simple. She said, ‘Your years of oppression and sadness are over. Does that mean anything to you?’ It did! We had been married nineteen years and we were on our first real family vacation. We recently joined a different church and my husband felt accepted and respected as a leader, so things at home reflected his happiness. We had been praying a lot for that!

Pam invited us to the [United Ministers’ Fellowship] meeting you were holding there in Branson. Friday night the pastor from Columbus, OH [Brian Adams] gave his testimony. It was so powerful. When he prayed for back pain he had us sit in the chairs. He asked, ‘Are you ready to be taller?’ I said, ‘I really am!’ I had been believing and confessing for my hip and back to be healed. My right leg grew out 3 inches in about 3 seconds! I was healed in my lower back. I sleep better at night. My hip doesn’t hurt and I’m now jogging five miles a week. Please tell this pastor ‘thank you’ for coming to Branson, and tell Pam thanks for inviting us!!!

Then on Saturday we went back and a gentleman gave us a word from the Lord. He told my husband [in part], ‘God is making you a father and a leader. He has a wonderful future for you.’ Then another man said, ‘You’re at the right place in the heart of God’. I told him that our church was Heart of God Fellowship.” Dan & Anthe
